We are very proud of this exhibition in the Jewish Museum. In 2020 we designed the book A Place of Our Own, and we initiated this exhibition that is on view in Amsterdam until January 2023. 

For six years Tel Aviv-based photographer and artist Iris Hassid followed the day to day life of four young Palestinian women attending Tel Aviv University. In close collaboration with the girls, Iris shows their difficult position in Israeli society. She illustrates their growing self-confidence and rejection of their depiction in the media as second-rate citizens through portraits and interviews.

For the first time ever, an exhibition at the Jewish Museum has texts in four languages: Hebrew, Arabic, English and Dutch. We felt that this was very important, because it highlights the intercultural connection.
