The house style for the Jewish historical museum was designed during the process of general refurbishing of the museum. The main premise was to develop a new, clear, distinctive style, including a striking logo. The house style also needed to attract a younger target group.
The JHM Children’s Museum, the Friends of the museum, and the shop and café all had to be distinctive in their own way, as well as sharing a common identity within the whole scheme of things. The three elements of the museum – Jewish, historical and museum were each assigned their own colour.
We also designed the routing within the complex whole of the 4 synagogues that comprise the JHM within this same house style.
